About
For nearly a decade, his daily struggle was balancing the wages and working conditions of 3,500 employees with the efficiency and profitability of the factories at his site.He was one of the first union representatives EVER to share the details surrounding tough negotiations in a private forum with the members of his local union prior to a controversial contract vote.
Those contracts weren’t easy to negotiate or ratify. During his time in office, his site was spun off from the parent company, bankrupted twice, and ultimately sold to the Chinese Government. About the same time, Brandy became a facilitator of Lou Tice’s Pacific Institute, a corporate training program designed to empower employees to recognize and adapt to the tough changes facing the American auto industry during that economic downturn.
The relationships he created with that group of influential, thought-based industry leaders still stand strong today. After leaving union office in 2009, his focus turned to copy-writing and marketing with a special interest in social media.
In 2011, Brandy was certified as a Web Copy Specialist through American Writers and Artists. Some of the classes he has taken include: Accelerated Copyrighting, Online Marketing (Web Copy 2.0), Content Marketing, Social Networking, Business-to-Business Marketing, Email/Autoresponder Training, Sales Funnel Optimization, and many more.
Brandy continues to study copy-writing and marketing today through AWAI’s prestigious “Circle of Success” program. Brandy has helped several business owners and managers find ways to streamline and improve their businesses through advancements in technology and communication.
He put his copy writing career on hold in 2016 to pursue his dream of becoming a published author. His experience in helping others to recognize and overcome negativity motivated him to launch the Unsocial Media Management book series in 2017.
Brandy resides in Michigan with his wife and four children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, and helping others to focus on the things in life they appreciate
